Superb location for Friedrichstrasse public transport hub and sightseeing, walking distance from main opera house and museum island. Excellent breakfast. 15m pool with towels provided: I packed my own robe and flip-flops but kits were available from reception. I asked for a quiet room and ended up opposite the dedicated pool lift which was perfect for a pre-breakfast swim. There is a nice pub next door which is cheaper than the hotel restaurant if you don't want to go elsewhere for dinner (closed on Sunday). There is an Edeka supermarket in Friedrichstrasse station which is useful for water etc which can be chilled in the room's fridge. I spent more on this hotel than usual but it turned out to be worth it for me for a 6-night stay when I was packing a lot in during the day and needed restful evenings.

Big room with desk, armchair, high floor and lots of art pieces around the hotel rooms and corridor. Comfy beds and pillows. Good shower pressure. Reception staff friendly and approachable. The location is just off the high street so everything you need to eat/drink is less than 3 min walk away. Brandeberg tor is 12 minute walk. Same for the museums. Freidrichstraße train station and underground are around the corner so very convenient all around. The hotel also let me check in two hours early for free which was very kind!

The hotel is very well positioned, close to many of Berlin's attraction points - and also very close to the subway, bus, tram and train stations. We travelled from and to the airport directly by train, which was very convenient. Rooms are a bit bigger than average for the price, with decent storage space and comfortable beds. Bathrooms are generally equipped with bathtub, which we greatly appreciated. Staff was friendly and helpful and breakfast was very good. We had a great stay and would gladly return.

Good value for money. The location couldn't be better. The lobby is beautiful and quiet, like a hotel lobby should be. If you arrive by car (like I did), there's a parking garage right under the hotel. The rooms are quiet, practical and spacious. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is nice. The showers work fine, even on the top floor. The indoor pool has its own elevator and (believe it or not) the key cards actually work! You can't say that about all hotels.

If you’re flying into Berlin, locate the DB Service Centre downstairs. You can take a direct train, I think it was the RE8 to Friedrichstrasse Station, which is a four-minute walk to the motel. The hop-on and hop-off bus stop was a 5-6 minute walk away.
